Cannot comment on a forum post

Hi,

I would like to comment on a previous forum post I have posted yesterday but I always get the message:

Your comment has been queued for moderation by site administrators and will be published after approval.

Any idea why this happens and what can I do to comment again?

We were being hit by a spam bot. I temporarily turned on the comment moderation, but forgot to turn it off. If anyone volunteers to be the administrator of our website, such things would not happen that frequently anymore.

Are you posting by mail or through the forum web page?. If using email, this
happens when you post a message as a "guest" to the list (e.g., using an
unregistered email address). Don't know about the web page case, because I
don't use it.

HTH,

Adolfo.

I posted through the forum web page. I will try the mailing list via
email now.

Thank you.

Hi Uwe,

I'm far from a regular user of the forum. Yet, I really appreciate it if
people complain about things not working for them, and I'm fixing it asap. I'd
rather have someone close to the Orocos developer's like you which regularly
uses the forum and who knows where to report such issues. Remember that you
can also use the 'website talk' forum to report brokenness (if posting works
at all).

All should be fixed now again, so please don't hesitate to give it another try.

Peter

Hi Peter,

thank you very much for fixing this. My post was more a question than a
complain. I thought I did something wrong and hoped somone could help me.

That's not an error. Your message will be online after moderation (approval by the administrator).
