Just for your information, Rock has now an orogen (not typegen)
generated typekit for KDL in Rock

In the process of interfacing with iTasc, Rock's tooling (more
specifically, rock-display) can now successfully interface with
plain-RTT task contexts for which some types are unknown and no oroGen
model is available.
