[Bug 437] New: TaskBrowser: .connect is not documented

For more infomation about this bug, visit
Summary: TaskBrowser: .connect is not documented
Product: OCL
Version: 0.4.1
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: TaskBrowser
AssignedTo: orocos-dev [..] ...
ReportedBy: peter [dot] soetens [..] ...
CC: orocos-dev [..] ...
Estimated Hours: 0.0

When the TaskBrowser visits a component, it does not automatically create
connections to the data ports. This is to avoid interfering with a (running)
application. One needs to type ".connect" to connect to the data ports of the
visited component. This is nowhere documented.

A patch was applied on trunk/ocl. The 'help' section was extended with the
'.connect' to instruct the TaskBrowser to connect to the Ports of the current
peer. Also TAB-completion was fixed.

$ svn ci taskbrowser/ -m"Fix bug #437: TaskBrowser: .connect is not documented
> .connect is documented in 'help' and other recent features as well."
Sending taskbrowser/TaskBrowser.cpp

Committed revision 28495.
