Oh man, I really hoped for a nice (Brazilian?) gift reading the subject, but
I'll just settle for helping out novice users...

The answer is: it depends.

All projects run on Linux, OCL is quite Linux specific as well. For
KDL and BFL, your mileage may vary and if you are experienced on
Windows or Mac OS X, you might be able to get it working on your OS.

So the short answer is: Linux is the only OS which is guaranteed to work.
