While running the unit tests on a i386 station, with bfl trunk
(28795)configured to use liblti for both matrix and rng wrapper, and liblti
installed as an ubuntu package from tinnes repository,

kgad@watt ~/SVN/bfl-trunk/build$

confirmed.
The failure does not occur when using boost.
